Anssems GT 500 181 VT1 Trailer

The Anssems GT 500 181 VT1 Trailer is the smallest model Anssems offer in the VT1 format (83cm deep with the lid closed). Despite its size it still enjoys all the same high-quality features, construction and components of the larger trailers. This trailer is nice and nimble and can be moved and stored very easily. It can accommodate 312kg of goods and is more than man enough to cope with all your camping needs.

Anssems Trailers started production in the Netherlands in 1977 and still?produce?there today. Anssems has always had the reputation of building ‘the unbreakable trailer’ and again this has been the starting point of the new line of products.

• The 500 stands for the MGW, so in this case 500kg, with a load carrying capacity of 312kg.
• The 181 element of the name is the Load bed length.
• VT1 stands for Hard Top, but with the greater depth of 83cm. The hard top has numerous benefits over and above the additional load carrying capacity. The top provides greater security, but is also load bearing! This platform can be used to add a roof rack together with cycle carriers, Kayak holders or even a roof box!

• Lockable tailgate and lid that can be opened independently .
• Robust seal between upper and lower panels to ensure waterproof.
• Jockey Wheel – Yes
• Sides – Double skin Aluminium planking
• Wheel Size – 145/R13
• Can the trailer be stored on its end – No

Popular options –

• Spare wheel (mounted underneath the trailer)
• Thule roof rack system
• Thule roof rack system and cycle carriers
• Hitch lock and “on car lock”
• Bottle Jack and wheel brace (as some cars don’t carry a spare and therefore you have no means of changing a spare wheel.
